My Oral Presentation
A very good morning to my lecturer and all my friends. Before I start more about my life experience, let me introduce myself first. My name is Norfarhana binti Mizan and last 5 months, I am officially 25 years old. I come from Gemas, Negeri Sembilan.
For my education background, after I finished my secondary school in 2010, I studied at Felda English Languange Center, Kelana Jaya for 3 months started from February until May 2011. At there, I have learned a basic english such as gramatically, writing, speaking and listening skills. Speaking was the main activities that we had like a sang a song and acting with a good english pronounsation. Even my english was bad, i'm always trying to speak on it.
Next, One week after I passed my English studied, I continued to Politeknik Ungku Omar Ipoh by taking Diploma in Architecture for 3 years. In 2013, I underwent an internship at DCA Architecture as a Draughtperson for 6 months. During my internship, I have used an AutoCAD software to make a building model such as Dewan Millennium model, Pasar Awam Taiping model and Masjid Batu Gajah model. Making a model by using manual cutting is my interest because I love being focuses in one subject and it is able for me to relaxing my mind. Actually, i have to be careful when cutting the board and at the same time i have to imagine the shape of the building that i connect it.
Lets go through to my worked experience. After I completed my Diploma, working as Store Associate at a 7-eleven store for 11 months was my first work experienced. I expertised in calculating store account by using microsoft offices, promoting goods sales to attract my customers, key-in the invoices, and labelling the products. Why i did not working in my field because i cannot go far because i have to take care of my sick parents that time.
September 2015, I am undergoing in Bachelor of Technology with Education (Building Construction) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor. When I was in 3rd year class, I had participating a practical teaching at Kolej Vokasional Datuk Seri Mohd Zin, Alor Gajah, Melaka for 4 months. During my practical teaching, I had learned how to handle a typical student who are very aggresive when they are in class, use the right pedagogy method in teaching is the solutions to handle them. I'm also had given a responsibilities to redraw examination's room for renovation process by using AutoCAD and Sketch-up software, and also made a test questions for technology construction's students.
Last but not least, I'm also have joined tuition classes to teach a primay's student during my semester break in my hometown area. In the tuition class i taught them a upsr subject such as mathematic, english, bahasa melayu and science. I used my capabilities in practical teaching to my primary student. To me, teach a primary school is more wonderful because they are easily to handle. I just have to pshycho them when they become a naughty student.
Finally, my career goal is to enhance my skills, experiences and capabilities in a dynamic and stable workplace with the cutting edge of technologies especially in engineering industry.
